Restaurant Ludwigs in Fussen

IT IS IMPERATIVE TO CHECK THE INVOICE !!! Very, very unfortunate that you can't give minus stars .. the staff were very polite, the food was okay, you couldn't complain. I noticed that there were a few orders missing, but as far as everything is good that you don't get, you logically pay for it not so now it comes !! The waiter comes to me freezing cold and calculates the food I didn't have at all and when I asked for the bill I was also looked at stupidly so people definitely ask for the receipt, although it is mandatory in Germany you have to ask! Chicken son ?

Very friendly service, very delicious food and right in town;) can only recommend

We were warmly welcomed by the staff and brought to the table. The menu has a large selection of beer and drinks, as well as a very nice selection of food. We opted for roll roast, steak and baked schnitzel, we loved the delicious food. For dessert there was mousse au chocolat, yeast dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn and as a nightcap there was gentian and hay schnapps. That was a nice end to the vacation For lovers there is a love corner as a swan where you are completely undisturbed. Great idea

Very tasty food, friendly staff, in a very central location, everything fits.

We were in the restaurant around noon on a Tuesday afternoon. It was pretty empty, so we didn't have to wait long for the service or the orders. The food was delicious and the portions quite generous. It's just a shame that e.g. There were 3 large slices of meat on my roast pork, but only 2 tiny dumplings as a side dish (1 bread dumpling on top of that, although the menu only spoke of potato dumplings). More attention should be paid to the balance of meat and side dishes. Otherwise I can unreservedly recommend the restaurant. :-)

Food was very tasty and a good selection of Bavarian dishes. The staff is very nice and also traditionally dressed. I found something special.

Nice restaurant with very nice, courteous and polite staff. Prices are a little higher, but you get a great atmosphere and delicious food. We can warmly recommend the chicken and the Kaiserschmarrn, and we didn't have to wait long. Would visit the restaurant again anytime.

We were there 3 times on our vacation. The food was really very good. However, the service on the last evening was very disappointing. Very unfriendly and absolutely not customer friendly. Because of the good food, I still give it 3 stars.

We were guests at Ludwig on September 2nd, 2020. Unfortunately, I can only agree with the previous speakers. Instead of the ordered sauerbraten with dumplings, fries were served, without asking and with the comment dumplings are out. The location was also so cold because all the windows and doors were open that I was very frozen. Finally, I would like to say that we too had to wait a long time for our food. If the quality of the food had appealed to us, it would be okay. Unfortunately it wasn't. Conclusion: overpriced tour quality food

We went there for the place located in the center, nice, but to eat really bad! Poorly cooked food, I'm talking about local specialties, almost raw pork filter, left half plates.

Waitresses were friendly. The waiter who brought us the drinks just threw the under-glass pads in front of us from one side of the table and we found it to be a bit rude! I ordered a grill plate and I received a pommes plate instead! 6 tiny pieces of fillet, no salt, no taste, too dry, with 2 pieces of partly grilled bacon and a ton of fries for 27 Euros! We were a group of 6 and ordered different dishes. The only satisfactory one which was not perfect either, was the burger! Also, got no feedback from manager after telling all these to one of the staff!

Good German food. The broth is amazing. However, severely understaffed when we were there. We picked up the menu ourselves from another table as we were not served for about 15 minutes upon being seated. Drinks took a long time. We were served our soup around 45 minutes after order and mains 90 minutes after order. The waitress was very apologetic about our wait though, and offered us schnapps. However, this was quite an extreme wait and we got rather frustrated in the end. Because of this, it is not a restaurant that we will ever visit again but we still recommend to people who are fine with a long dinner with extended waiting times to chat with friends.

Unfortunately, our food was served lukewarm on cold plates, and the potato dumplings we ordered came in miniature format. Unfortunately, this very beautiful restaurant fell at the feet of tourism. Conclusion, it tastes better at home and is also cheaper.

07/15/20: ln the Corona period we found ourselves in, 《Ludwigs》. Very clean cozy place, friendly service, extremely disciplined. Drinks served quickly, food delivered in a reasonable time, unfortunately only moderately warm, qualitative but perfect, aromatic and plentiful. Price-performance ratio is OK.

Super service actually 5 stars! The girls did a good job. The portions were good but it was only lukewarm.

After going to Neuschwanstein Castle, use it while waiting for the train in Fussen. Although it is a little expensive at the tourist spot price, the local cuisine of Bavarian is delicious. I tried to use WiFi, but only hotel guests can use it. I'm paying for this too, so I just wanted to make it flexible.

Haksen, which had been cooled down, was warmed up and just brought it to me. Those who have eaten some meat know enough about the texture and taste when they reheat what they have cooled down.

The waiter who works there is by far the worst we have ever seen. My friend and I sat down for a dessert and a tea for a bit, the waiter placed our orders on the table very far from us, later on he insisted on us paying in cash although there were no signs regarding the payment procedure. He asked for the money in German very impatiently while we were communicating in English ( he knows English, he was taking orders and responding in it while serving a group of six people right beside us who were treated better assuming that they were going to pay much more than us) and has never said “Thanks, Goodbye” etc.

The foods are tasty and delicious. But the services are slow probably lack of manpower. Prices range are standard after compared with local restaurant. Can afford €20 per meal per person, then you must try out the foods in the restaurant.

Very large meals. Veggie and vegan options and plenty of traditional foods. Tasty!

Amazing goulash

Delicious pork legs, BBQ ribs are delicious.

Under the expectations. Rooms cleaned and new furniture . But a very bad petroleum smell in one specific apartment. You can not rent it to guests. Problem must be solved because the hotel knows well about it. Sorry I do not give more than 3 stars.

Nice, clean great german food with pork,potato balls, red cabbage. Ate here 1 1/2 years ago and going back in September. Great prices..

I didn't need to wait for table. Waiters are friendly. We tried spare ribs, fried pork chop and fish, all of them were delicious!!!

Warm place to stay and diner. The rooms are beautiful

We brought a group large enough to fill more than one table and it didn't effect our service in the least bit. The food was fantastic and made me wish I lived much closer to Füssen, which seemed to be the entire group's overall opinion. Extra credit for an absence of single-use plastic!!!

Magnificent restaurant with a very varied menu highlighting the typical German food. The service is cordial. different and the prices are very good with very well served dishes. if you come to Fussen, do not forget to enjoy what this restaurant offers, it's worth it ..
